I completed undergraduate training at Guy’s, King’s, and St Thomas’ Medical School, London, where I was awarded a medical scholarship. After post-graduate medical training at Barts and The London Hospitals, I joined the West Midlands Higher Specialist Training Programme in Dermatology and received Specialist Accreditation in 2012. During this time I published numerous abstracts and articles in peer reviewed journals and regularly presented my work at national and international academic meetings.

I am an experienced dermatologist offering comprehensive assessment and treatment of inflammatory conditions of the skin, hair and nails, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and other rashes. I also have a sub-speciality interest in skin cancer risk assessment, diagnosis and treatment. I have been Consultant Lead for Skin Cancer at Walsall Manor Hospitals since 2013 and am an active member of the West Midlands Skin Cancer Expert Advisory Group. I have received advanced training in dermatological surgery and regularly perform complex surgical procedures. 

I also have a specialist interest in undergraduate teaching and am am a Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham. I am Head of Undergraduate Medical Education at Walsall NHS Trust and immediate past Speciality Lead for Dermatology for the Birmingham Medical school.
